You can find out how many credits you are using per message by checking your activity log, following the steps below.
You may wish to check your activity log if you seem to be using credits faster than expected. This could happen if you are exceeding the 160 character limit in your messages.
Although you may have been careful to stick to the character limit when setting up your messages, whenever there are merge fields in the message it is possible you will exceed the limit. For example if a client has quite a long name when he/she enters the name as they are making a booking it will push the characters passed the 160 limit. The message will then use two credits to send.
You may need to revise the length of your messages or the included merge fields to avoid this scenario.
Start off by making sure you are logged in to your calendar so that you have access to your settings.
Step 1: Click on the cog wheel in the top right corner of your screen which will bring you to your calendar settings.
Step 2: Select “Activity Log” at the bottom of the settings column in the left side of the screen.
This will display the full activity log in the main window. You dont need all of these log items to have an overview of your credit costs.
Step 3: In order to view JUST your SMS/credit history click on the drop down menu and select SMS.
Step 4: Displayed in the table now are all of the messages that have been sent, including the actual text. The number in the brackets indicates how many credits each message used.
In this example it is the practitioners name in the booking confirmation that is pushing the message over the 160 character limit.
